Site updated May 8, 2008

In my youth I had a dream of fortune and fame, but it never happened because it was only a dream. Not the kind of thing an ordinary kid like me could achieve. So I went on to do the things expected of me. I had a few more successes than failures, and as I grew older I realized the dreams of my youth could have happened had I only applied myself. But now it was too late I no longer had my youth. Or was it? Can old dreams be re-cycled?

E. David Moulton. Writer and Songwriter.

If this is your first visit to this site, stay a moment. You will find a wide and varied content both entertaining and enlightening.

Avid readers will not want to miss this novel. Prodigal Child is one of those books you will not put down once you are two or three chapters into it. You can read the opening chapters here.

Although not in the self help books category many readers have found not only entertainment but personal growth help from this book with its non-religious spiritual message.

Others have read the book and completely missed that aspect of it and instead have come away with a better understanding of the music that came from Britain in the 1960s and 1970s and where it came from; where the dark undertones of the music of The Who and Pink Floyd came from for example.

If you are a bicycle enthusiast author E. David Moulton was once a leading designer and builder of racing bicycles known as Dave Moulton. You will find a large Bicycle Section on this site with history and pictures of his past work.

Song lyrics on this site read as poetry, some humorous, some sad, and all about life.

If you like to read short stories take a look at one called "In Search of Diamonds" on the Journal page. A five minute read.

James R. Winter a writer from Cincinnati, OH author of North Coast Shakedown continues to give praise for Prodigal Child.

He reviewed Prodigal Child for Futures Magazine in October 2003 (It can be seen in the review section on this site.) In a Blog of June 3rd 2005 he lists "Five Books That Mean a Lot to Me:".

1.) The Bible.

2.) A Brief History of Time, by Stephen Hawking.

3.) Prodigal Child, by E. David Moulton.

4.) Inside Out, by Nick Mason.

5.) Benjamin Franklin: An American Life, by Walter Isaacson.

Once again he didn’t tell me he had done this; I just happened to stumble on it while doing a Google search. Here is a man who as a reviewer reads over 50 books a year (About one a week.) The compliment has added value because it comes from a peer and although I have not had the pleasure of meeting him yet I have a great respect for his work.

Thank you James.

I have been in a studio recording a CD of my songs. It will be an album of about 15 songs. I started the project in June 2005 and it looks like I will be finished around March 2006. Watch this space for more news.
